Hayden Baum | Bar Mitzvah | Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun

I’ve been shooting Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs for a couple years now and each and every time, I marvel at the ritual, the beauty, and the love that are so clearly present and encapsulate each incredibly special event. Hayden’s Bar Mitzvah was no exception. It was an honor to document this momentous occasion for Hayden and his lovely family. His confidence and poise, and the family’s love for one another are both so very palpable in these images. And as you can clearly see in the shots captured at their party, they certainly know how to have a great time too! SO fun! I am literally in LOVE with capturing the Hora. That tradition is, without a doubt, my favorite part of the day, every single time. There is truly a remarkable, magical energy when standing, dancing, or being lifted inside that circle.
