Emily and Jordan met me at Alterra on the Lake, one of their favorite locales from back in the days that they lived on Milwaukee’s East Side at the top of Lafayette Hill. We started our session chatting over some coffee and hot cocoa while Emily and Jordan shared the story of how they met and fell in love and how they got engaged, which just so happened to be right across the street on a paddleboat in the lagoon near McKinley Marina. I loved getting to know these two. They are, quite simply, cute and modest and chill and down-to-earth and totally into one another. They’ll be tying the knot next year in Emily’s hometown of Appleton. Judging from how easily they laughed, smiled and played along with me despite telling me beforehand they were a bit nervous about this whole photo shoot thing…I think they will have a fabulous wedding day with lots more smiles, laughter, love and cherished memories.
