I first met Stacey and Matt long ago, toward the beginning of my photography journey, back when they were just a family of four and I hadn’t yet taken the leap to leave my career as a teacher and make this my full time job. So much has changed since then, but I recall having an immediate connection with them, partly perhaps since Matt is an educator and we bonded over what a crazy time it was for teachers (Ha! I guess not much has changed!), and also likely because our children were about the same ages and the joys and challenges of parenting young children is most certainly a tie that binds. I am confident now that our connection was more than that. Our lives had intersected for a reason, as I’d learn that their warm personalities and beautiful hearts would draw me in each time I’d see them and their lovely children. So, it came as no surprise when I met Stacey’s extended family a few weeks ago at Richfield Historical Park, and found they all had that same magical, good energy. ❤️ I hope you all feel and see what I see when I look at these images. Beyond a simply beautiful family, there’s just Love. So much love. ❤️ 🍁
