Photographing this beautiful girl for her senior portraits was so special to me for so many reasons. It was as if two of my worlds were colliding in the most magical way and it simply made me so happy and honored to be able to capture this lovely lady on the front lawn of Shorewood High School, where she attends school and plays basketball and where just three years ago, hundreds gathered with candles and music when the district honored my husband, Mark Harris. You see, Makayla is one of three students who have been accepted into the Mark Harris Fellowship Program and she will be one of our first graduates of the program. She is already making us so proud and we can’t wait to see where life takes her.
