It was great meeting Jesse and catching up with his mom a few weeks ago. Jesse is going to be a senior at Mukwonago High School and like many seniors, is still pondering what he’ll do after he graduates. When I was a senior in high school I had already developed a keen interest in photography, but my journey took me first to UW-Madison where I studied studied mechanical engineering and Spanish before deciding to become a teacher, a degree which I completed as a graduate student in Milwaukee. Now, 20 years later I am a full-time photographer. So I guess, you don’t really have to have it all figured out at age 17 like some may think we should. Jesse, I am looking forward to hearing where you decide to go. I am sure you’ll do great things, wherever your like takes you. Hope to see you and your family again one day!
