How darling is this sweet baby boy who I was blessed to photograph at his home when he was about one month old?! His sweet mama and daddy are dear friends so I was honored when they asked me to photograph them together as a family. They were just finishing up a complete renovation of their house, making this an extra special time to capture them at home. Little Hunter couldn’t be more adorable with that beautiful head of hair and the sweetest little lips. Can you tell I love babies?

So, I truly believe that God puts people in our lives for a reason and we may not always learn the reason but he sends us little “reminders” along the way that we are all connected for a purpose. During this session, with this beautiful family, I got one of those reminders. Glenn and Jenna live just a few blocks away from where Mark grew up. This came up in conversation so Glenn, asked which house, specifically was Mark’s. I wasn’t sure of the exact address, so began to describe the house based on its color, size and proximity to the cross streets….and suddenly Glenn began to finish my sentence as he proceeded to say, “We own that house.” Goosebumps instantly covered my skin. My dear friends own the house that my husband grew up in; The one that he used to drive by and point out to me and the kids every single time we were in the area; The home which housed so many memories from his childhood, relayed to us through tears from giggling so hard as he’d recall shenanigans with his brother in that house.  “We own that house.” The words left his lips and landed on my heart. I don’t really know how to describe the feeling other than to say I felt a hug from heaven in that moment. God and Mark were letting me know that I am connected to Glenn and Jenna for a reason.  And they are literally two of the kindest people I know, so I feel pretty blessed to know them.  Glenn and Jenna, I couldn’t be happier to see you two so happy in your new home with your sweet little boy in your arms. Hunter is absolutely perfect and I feel blessed to have been able to document this special time in your lives. Enjoy every minute with your sweet boy.
