Erik + Bridget | Marriage Proposal at O’Donnell Park | Milwaukee Engagement Photographer

Last week I had the pleasure of documenting Erik’s momentous marriage proposal to the love of his life, Bridget. The plan was simple: Bridget’s best friend was in town for just a few days and suggested that Bridget and her beau meet her for dinner at the Harbor House overlooking the lake. Part of the surprise was that Bridget’s and Erik’s parents would also be waiting there to celebrate with them after their big moment.  Erik had recently taken up an interest in photography so he told Bridget he’d like to make a quick stop on their way to dinner at O’Donnell Park in front of Milwaukee’s iconic Art Museum to take some photos of her. Little did she know that when she had her back turned, Erik was planning to get down on one knee and I’d be there to capture it all. Moments like this one are, undoubtedly, my favorite part of my job. I love LOVE…so getting to capture moments of  heart-racing, blissful excitement and pure joy are what make my heart sing. Congratulations, Erik and Bridget. Being IN LOVE sure looks good on you two.
