A few weeks ago, I met this darling family at Lake Park for their family session. Their two little cuties couldn’t have been more adorable and fun to photograph! I remember when my kids were these ages I would leave a family photo shoot thinking there is no way the photographer could have captured ANYTHING and I was always so pleasantly surprised when I’d view the gallery and see so many images of us just laughing and having fun together. As photographers, we often work really hard to get that one family shot with everyone smiling and looking at the camera because often that is what our clients think they want. But, when I photograph young families, it’s always my goal to get that one shot at the very beginning so that during the rest of the session we can just run and play and sing and dance and just have fun (we sure did all of that while capturing these moments 🥰)! It’s those moments where we aren’t focused on smiling and looking at the camera when the magic happens. ❤️ Kelly, I absolutely loved photographing you and your beautiful family, and I hope you love these images as much as I do.
