Earlier this month, Rayna gathered with her family and friends for her Voni Celebration, a rite of passage in South Indian culture which signifies the time when a girl becomes a woman. Unfortunately, due to my own personal family event that morning, I was unable to attend the ceremony, which as you can see from the photo above, would have been an incredibly beautiful sight to behold. ❤️ However, I met Rayna and her family later in the day for a mini family photo session at the lakefront, followed by Rayna’s fabulous Voni Party. It was my first time photographing a Voni party and it was an absolute blast. Congratulations, Rayna! It was a treasure to document these special moments for you! xoxo
