This family session was over a year and a half in the making! 💗 My dear friend, Jen, reached out to me at the very end of 2024 about a family session as a gift for her mom’s birthday and we finally had the chance to make it happen earlier this month. As a busy mom myself, I know how challenging it can be to find time for an extended family photo shoot when you are juggling demanding sports schedules and unpredictable Wiscosnin weather. So when you add in coordinating outfits and finding the right location, it can be quite an undertaking. Yet, minus some blustery wind, I think the stars aligned for us this month and we captured this beauitful family just as they are, lovely, happy, together. It was a beautiful Sunday evening and offered us a peaceful snapshot in time in between the busy grind of their daily lives. That last shot on the rocks took some patience and willingness to get a little (or a lot) wet, but I am so happy we did it because I think its one of my favorites!
