I met sweet Lucy at Lake Park a couple weeks ago for her Senior Session. Lucy has a gentle spirit and beautiful blue eyes that pull you in and make you feel like you can see straight to her soul. Lucy attends Shorewood High School which (fingers crossed) she hopes will revert back to in-person classes at some point during her senior year. She is also part of the gymnastics and soccer teams at SHS which will hopefully (fingers crossed again) get to move forward with their seasons also! Working with so many seniors this fall has been so fun– seniors are among my favorite subjects given that this is such a pivotal year in life…yet, right now is such an interesting and unique time for all seniors with so much in limbo with their classes and extra-curricular activities. Clearly, this is not how anyone imagines their last year of high school to be.
Lucy, it was lovely to meet you! I wish for you some normalcy in the near future and all the best in your senior year and beyond!
