There is just something about this beautiful family that hits me right in the heart. Every time I see them, every single moment I spend, pouring over their images, deciding which ones to share here, I just have this feeling, this knowing, that I was connected to them for a reason. I’ve shared here before that we originally met through a rather random misunderstanding, which I now believe was actually some sort of twist of fate. Lisa was googling a different Erin Harris, who was recommended by a friend, but landed on my website instead of hers. We realized the mistake during our first session together but we had already formed such a warm rapport during that initial meeting that Lisa and Matthew decided to stick with me through many years of life’s moments and milestones, despite the distance either of us would have to travel to make that happen.  That first serendipitous encounter has now given me the opportunity to capture this gorgeous group through my lens more than a dozen times over 9 years. Getting to know this beautiful family has been such a blessing to me in my career and I am certain that if we lived closer, we’d be the BEST of friends. Lisa and Matthew–I adore you and your family.
