Last week I met this adorable couple in the Third Ward for their engagement session. I’ll be shooting their wedding this fall and was eager to get to know them a little better as a couple before the big day when they tie the knot. I “retired” from shooting weddings a few years ago when my family grew from four of us to nine of us, making my weekends absolutely jam packed with all the kids’ sports and activities, However, I love LOVE so I can hardly resist when I get asked to shoot a wedding by someone that I know. Kendra is one of Cece’s beloved dance teachers, so I was thrilled when she asked if I was available and interested in shooting her wedding this fall. ❤️ Scott and Kendra originally met through the dance world but reconnected later when their love story began with a first “date” over tequila shots at Camp Bar Third Ward, which we decided would be the perfect place to start their engagement shoot. Of course the session couldn’t have been complete without capturing them with their sweet fur baby, Ernie, who was loving all the attention and literally grinning from ear to ear! A couple of tequila shots later and we were off, wondering through the streets and alleys of the Third Ward and laughing off the silly lovey dovey poses that make for some engagement session magic. Can you tell these two like each other? ❤️ Kendra and Scott, this was so fun. I hope you find some images here that you love. I can’t wait to capture your “I dos” this fall!
