Haley and Mircea’s gorgeous Villa Terrace wedding was filled with such incredible personal touches and vintage details that I had a field-day photographing this magical event. After meeting Haley through a mutual friend and corresponding with her about her wedding, I just knew it was going to be a fabulous affair. Haley is thoughtful, sweet and uber organized–so much so that she keeps track of every single restaurant that she and Mircea have visited on their weekly Friday date nights in a spread sheet. Oh, how I aspire to be that meticulous! In addition, Haley is exceptionally creative, having handmade many of the decorations and details for the wedding herself. Her decision to weave delicate shades of sage and dusty pink into everything struck me as brilliantly vintage….and the centerpieces and table numbers in antique tea cups had me at hello.
Haley and Mircea’s love story began in Michigan, but brought them to Milwaukee, where they reside on the east side. Together they enjoy good food, movies, books, long walks along the river, and the company of family and friends. On this gorgeous day, you could just feel the love that these two have for each other, but also for their closest family and friends, many of whom traveled far and wide to be with them on their special day. Naturally this was a momentous occasion because Haley and Mircea were tying the knot in an intimate ceremony among dear family and friends, but it was exceedingly special that Mircea’s parents were able to be there, having traveled from their home in Romania to the U.S. for the very first time. If the love that you could feel on that day is any indication of how their future will go, I think they are pretty much guaranteed a beautiful life.
