It was such a delight to have the chance to photograph Grace, a senior at Nicolet High School. I’ve known Grace since she was just a little girl, as she and my daughter, Lucia, have gone to school together since K4. It’s always a little bittersweet to see these kids I’ve known for so long suddenly becoming seniors!
Grace is also a talented tennis player, and she brought such a natural confidence and ease to her session. She is absolutely gorgeous, but what I loved most was how effortlessly that beauty came through in these images. The camera truly loved her. While I’ve seen her around at school from time to time, and also photographed her family during her sister’s senior session, I hadn’t had the chance to catch up with Grace personally in a few years so it was fun to connect and hear about her plans for the future. It was extra special to photograph her during this exciting time after watching her grow up alongside Lucia.
