Emma is a senior at Whitefish Bay High School who I have known and adored since she was just a little girl, so capturing her as a high school senior last week sure was extra special to me. 💗 Our families have been dear friends for what feels like forever, and yet I’m still having a hard time believing that Emma is all grown up. 🥺 When I recently came across the image above of five year-old Emma in a bright blue chair that we dragged outside from their living room all those years ago, it became the inspiration for her senior mini-session. As it turns out, Emma and her baby brother, Benny, were captured on this same chair just after he was born, so when I mentioned this idea, Emma’s mom was totally game to drive out and borrow the chair from the family member they had gifted it to several years ago. The camera loves this gorgeous girl and she was simply captivating as my muse on the blue chair. 💗
Emma, you are absolutely beautiful, inside and out. I love love LOVED capturing you, catching up with you and hearing about the endless possibilities that await you next year. I can’t wait to hear where life takes you next–no doubt, big things are in store for you. xoxoxo
