It’s always extra special when a family comes back to me to capture their important milestones and photographing Colin for his senior portraits was no exception. I first got to know this family when I photographed Colin’s cousin, Maddie, and over the years I’ve also had the chance to photograph his sister, Chloe, and his cousin, Aidan. So when it was finally Colin’s turn, it felt like I was completing a cull circle.
A Shorewood High School senior, Colin brought plenty of personality to his session. Between basketball, his love of travel, and the excitement of what comes next, it was fun to talk to Colin about this season of his life. We captured a mix of classic senior portraits and photos that felt more like him, relaxed and natural. I love that senior sessions can tell the story of who someone is right now, while also capturing a little glimpse of where they’re headed.
Thank you to the whole family for trusting me to document so many senior milestones over the years. It has been so fun and meaningful to capture all four of these cousins and siblings, and I’m so excited to see where Colin’s next adventure takes him.
