Jim and Amanda and their boys met me at Neiman Orchards in Cedarburg a few weeks ago on a chilly but beautiful fall morning. I’ve been to this orchard several times now and fall more and more in love with it each time. It seems to be kind of a hidden gem, which is one of the things I love so much about it, not to mention their apples are delicious! I had such fun that morning watching these darling boys pick apples and slowly warm up to the idea of me snapping their photos. Upon arrival at the orchard, Jim, a former co-worker of mine and Amanda, a fellow teacher, let me in on the secret of how to tell them apart, and informed me that “Drew in blue” is the shy one of the two….although, I don’t think you’d guess it from these images. Jim, it was so great to catch up and to meet your beautiful family. Thank you for entrusting me with the honor of documenting a tiny snippet of your life. 🙂
