They met. They fell in love. He proposed. She said yes. It happened under the Eiffel Tower, the most romantic place in the world. So it’s fitting that they chose the most romantic venue in Milwaukee to continue this love story on their wedding day. Its the third time I’ve shot a wedding at the Villa Terrace and I fall more in love with this place each time I’m here. This time around, the day couldn’t have been more spectacular. Guests sipped on champagne while lounging in the gorgeous courtyard after the ceremony and nibbled on delicious bites of baked brie while enjoying the cool breeze and the stunning views of Lake Michigan. Later they would be sent on their way with handmade Limoncello, to remind them of the magnificent event. The day was made even more special due to the fact that Fede’s parents and all of his siblings were able to make the long journey from Argentina to be sitting beside him for this momentous occasion. The entire ceremony and touching toasts given by family and friends were in both English and Spanish, an ode to the couple’s desire to blend their cultures as they become one. What a glorious day it was… and as the sun fell behind the Villa and Abby and Fede leaned into one another and danced as if no one were watching, I couldn’t help but think of Abby’s mom’s mantra, “How lucky are we?” And so continues this love story.
