Last week we welcomed a new baby into the world and into our hearts. Cecilia Ray Harris was born on July 2, 2012 at 10:15 pm.
The day before, in anticipation of her arrival, Mark took some photos of me and the kids in the yard. They gave my belly some final kisses and asked A LOT of questions about how their new sister was “going to get out.” All of the black and white shots were taken by the hubby…and I must say, he is shaping up to be a pretty good ‘second shooter.’

Here we are at the hospital, the following day, eagerly awaiting her arrival, with a quick visit from the kids.
And here I am with my sweet Cecilia Ray, immediately following her birth at 10:15 pm. She was 5 pounds, 9 ounces and 19 inches long. My little peanut was finally here and she is perfect.
The following morning, Cooper and Lucia met their baby sister for the very first time…
…and it was love at first sight!
On July 4, 2012, we brought our baby girl home and our journey as a family of five began.
