A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing my friends, Amber and Dave, at one of my favorite places to shoot, the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center. It was just a year ago when we last met for a photo session and somehow it seems like the kids have grown at least two years older. They look so big and grown up in these images, I just can’t get over it! My husband and I met Amber and Dave through softball, which in our lives, has been known to bring good people together. As much as it pains me to admit this publicly, if it weren’t for (ahem) my husband playing softball, there would be SO many dear, dear friends we would have never known…and Amber and Dave are no exception. They are the kind of people you meet and instantly love. And then there is Amber’s over-the-top sense of humor, which has me rolling on the floor laughing every single time I see her. Good peeps.
