Jane + Eric | Rustic Manor 1848 | Milwaukee Wedding Photographer

It was the wedding that everyone was waiting for. Jane and Eric have been together for 15 years and while I’ve known them throughout many of those years, I hadn’t spent a great deal of time with them together until we shot their engagement photos last spring, and it was there that I learned that they are absolutely perfect together. Eric adores Jane–you can see it in his eyes when he looks at her, and Jane thinks that everything Eric does and says is the cutest, sweetest or most hilarious thing on earth. I absolutely love that about them and it made me giddy for them to start their next chapter together. Their wedding day was simply spectacular. The air was fresh, bright and brisk and every once in awhile the sun would peek through the clouds and shine its magical rays down on Eric and Jane and the multitude of friends and family from near and far who had gathered together for their most epic day of “I Dos.” I feel pretty special to have been selected by Jane and Eric to capture their momentous union. Jane works for Milwaukee Magazine and could have chosen a number of very talented photographers for this important job. I think she chose me because I know their story. And to know Jane and Eric is to know laughter and happiness, fun and friendship. To know them is to know love.
