Amy and Darren Are Having a Baby | Milwaukee + Chicago Event + Maternity Photographer

Last month I had the pleasure of traveling to Chicago with a dear friend, to shoot photos of this absolutely beautiful baby shower, and then later that day, maternity photos of the stunning couple. I met Amy and Darren a few years ago through our mutual friend, Andrea, when they were visiting her for the weekend. Amy and Darren are the type of people that you just instantly connect with. They both radiate warmth, kindness and humor and are just simply great people. For those who love LOVE,  Amy and Darren’s love story is one for the record books. They met in a restaurant in Chicago when Amy was out with the girls for ladies night and the tall, handsome Aussie was immediately taken by her. Some might say it was love at first sight.  Their relationship had them traveling across country for one another for just a few dates within a few months, when they decided that their love story was just beginning and they wanted to spend forever together. Amy and Darren got married in both Indiana and Australia and their journey has taken them to Seattle and back to Chicago, where they were living when they found out they were expecting their baby girl, Olivia, who should arrive in just a few weeks. I was honored to be there to celebrate their little one’s impending arrival and to document this special day for them. Amy and Darren, you two are quite simply, made for each other. Your energy, your joy and your love is contagious. Thank you for inviting me into your love story for a moment.
