I met Jess in college, which feels like a million years ago now…back when life was pretty simple and easy. Our biggest challenges included making it to a 7:45 am class on time because we were so worn out from a weekend of…ahem…studying. 🙂

Many years have gone by since I last hung out with Jess and life isn’t so simple anymore, but it took no time at all to see that she hasn’t changed a bit…beautiful inside and out, with a heart of gold.  Her husband, Nick, is the kind of guy you meet and instantly feel like you’ve known forever. He has kind eyes and a wonderful knack for conversation. And when Nick told me the story of how he and Jess met and fell in love, (they were actually neighbors as kids!!) he beamed from ear to ear.  And their gorgeous daughter? There really are no words necessary–just look at her and your heart will smile. This family seriously touched my heart in a way I cannot describe.

Jess, I so admire  your strength, beauty and grace … and feel beyond blessed that our paths crossed again. XOXO
